R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, in order to preserve the pavement condition of asphalt and concrete pavements on various County highways, the Division of Transportation annually undertakes crack sealing of these pavements; and
WHEREAS, a survey of pavement conditions of asphalt and concrete pavements on the County highway system has been completed; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $60,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the 2013 crack sealing of asphalt and concrete pavements, where necessary, on the County highway system, and designated as Section 13-00000-04-GM.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this appropriation be processed by the County Engineer for final approval of the Illinois Department of Transportation in accordance with the "Agreement of Understanding" between the Illinois Department of Transportation and Lake County, dated January 22, 2003.
