· FY2012 JULIE Locates Storm Sewer Services: Contract Award.
· In 2011, the LCDOT processed over 5,000 storm sewer locate requests and over 10,000 ticket screening requests from JULIE, which is burdensome on available staff time.
· The work will be switched from LCDOT staff to a contractor, similar to what has been done for locating and marking underground traffic signal facilities.
· A total of 3 bids were received, and the lowest responsible bidder is USIC Locating Services, Inc., Indianapolis, Indiana, with a contract amount of $50,880.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the Purchasing Agent heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for the storm sewer locates and ticket screening services required for the Lake County Division of Transportation to comply with the “The Illinois Underground Utility Facilities Damage Prevention Act” (i.e., JULIE) and designated as Section 12-00000-06-GM; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication and calling for said bids, sealed bids were received and opened on February 17, 2012, at 2:00 PM at the Lake County Government Office in Waukegan, Illinois; a tabulation of said bids being as follows:
