R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, in order to preserve the condition of pavement markings on the County highway system, the Division of Transportation annually undertakes the removal, replacement or refurbishment of markings on the bituminous and concrete pavements of various county highways; and
WHEREAS, a survey of the conditions of the above-said pavement markings on bituminous and concrete pavements on the County highway system has been completed; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $730,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the 2012 removal, replacement or refurbishment of pavement markings on the bituminous and concrete pavements of various County highways, and designated as Section 12-00000-12-GM.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this appropriation be processed by the County Engineer for final approval of the Illinois Department of Transportation in accordance with the "Agreement of Understanding" between the Illinois Department of Transportation and Lake County, dated January 22, 2003.
