Re: Years of Service Recognition Program
In our effort to recognize employees for their hard work and dedication to Lake County government, we are continuing the County’s Years of Service program. The program has been well received by department heads and employees alike. To honor those employees, who celebrated 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of service with Lake County in 2009, we propose the following program components:
• An early morning breakfast, featuring the honorees, their department heads and County Board members to be held at the Greenbelt Cultural Center in North Chicago on Friday, March 12th beginning at 8:00am.
• These employees will then be given a day off of their choice with pay, compliments of the County Board.
As we have done in the past, we will also honor those employees celebrating 5, 10 and 15 years of service with Lake County government. These employees will receive a small gift recognizing their achievement. These gifts will be presented to employees by their department heads.
