Proposed Revisions to the Lake County Health Department Animal Care and Control Program Administrative Procedures and Policies (as authorized in Lake County Code of Ordinances Chapter 174)

• Adding definition of “owner” to assist staff in carrying out the provisions of Chapter 172, ACC P&P, the ACC Fees Schedule, and the ACC Fee for Service Agreements;
• Removing the waiver of the service visit fee when a microchipped animal is impounded w/in a municipality. Add/explaining fee exceptions (fee waivers) when an injured animal is picked up within a municipality (no service visit fee) and when an animal is claimed by its owner (no disposal fee).
