R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Midlothian Road (County Highway 48) is a designated route on the county highway system; and

WHEREAS, Midlothian Road will be extended northerly from the existing fairground entrance to Moorehead Circle; and

WHEREAS, said extension improvement will cross the existing railroad grade crossing of Harris Rd at the railroad tracks of the Wisconsin Central Ltd. (Canadian National RR), and

WHEREAS, Wisconsin Central Ltd., Homewood, Illinois, is the owner of property situated within the proposed new right-of-way of Midlothian Road; and

WHEREAS, Lake County by and through its Division of Transportation has caused to be prepared preliminary plans and right-of-way plats, said plats identifying right-of-way needs and depicted in Exhibits A & B contained within the draft agreement attached hereto; and
