Staff Summary
• Last October, the CDC approved a request to modify the Waukegan Homebuyer Assistance Program to address the issue of foreclosure in Waukegan.
• The new structure of the program has not created the demand anticipated, and AHC is seeking to revert to its previously successful program structure.
• The proposed change, if approved, does not require a substantial amendment to any Action Plan, public hearing or comment period.
• The attached memos outline the request, of which staff recommends approval.
