Staff Summary
· The County entered into a contract with VisionAIR Inc. for an Integrated Law Enforcement System in December 2005.
· VisionAIR has developed a Public Safety Suite of applications, that Integrated Justice has already implemented five modules: TriTechRMS, TriTechJAIL, TriTechMOBILE, TriTechINFORM, and TriTechFBR.
· TriTechCAD is the final module that is to be installed and will build upon the already existing integrations and data exchanges in the Public Safety Suite of applications that otherwise would have to be customized with a third party vendor.
· Pursuant to Article 6, Section 102, the Purchasing Agent convened an ad hoc review group that approved bid exemption on the basis of an existing long standing successful relationship for professional services, and the knowledge gained through this relationship adds value integral to the services provided.
· Funds were allocated for this purpose in the CCIP budget in the amount of $410,932 with the remaining $195,070 being reallocated also from within the CCIP budget.

WHEREAS, There is a need to contract with Vision AIR to implement the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) software called TriTechCAD for the Integrated Law Enforcement System; and

WHEREAS, the County has a long standing successful relationship with VisionAIR as the County’s Integrated Law Enforcement System provider; and

WHEREAS, implementation of the TriTechCAD module will build upon the already existing integrations and data exchanges in the Public Safety Suite of applications; and
