Staff Summary

•                     Road Enhancements 2009: Appropriation

•                     Throughout Lake County both fencing and stormwater management basins have been installed and various locations require maintenance and care.  

•                     Before a contract letting can be held, an appropriation of funds is needed.

•                     This appropriation is $50,000 of Matching Tax funds.

Body

                     WHEREAS, Lake County by and through its Division of Transportation annually undertakes various highway improvement projects; and

                     WHEREAS, as part of these highway improvement projects, stormwater management basins as well as fencing for various purposes has been installed throughout Lake County on the county highways system; and

                     WHEREAS, these highway appurtenances at various locations require specialized maintenance and care and replacements.

                     NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County that there is hereby appropriated $50,000 of Matching Tax funds, for the care, maintenance and replacement of fencing and stormwater management basins at various locations on the county highway system and designated as Section 09-00000-05-GM.
