R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Board of Lake County, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for the repairs to the slope walls of the Grass Lake Road bridge over the Fox River and designated as Section 09-00059-08-BR; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication and calling for said bids, sealed bids were received and opened on April 27, 2010, at 10:00 AM at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois; a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

$105,295.00
WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is Alliance Contractors, Inc., Woodstock, IL their bid being $105,295.00, based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
WHEREAS, this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, by prior resolution at its meeting of April 14, 2009, appropriated $125,000.00 of County Bridge Tax funds to provide for the repairs to the slope walls of the Grass Lake Road bridge over the Fox River and designated as Section 09-00059-08-BR.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this County Board of Lake County that a contract be awarded to said Alliance Contractors, Inc., Woodstock, IL in accordance with their bid of $105,295.00 based on estimated quantities and unit prices and that the Purchasing Agent, the County Clerk, and the County...
