• The Court Document Storage fund has a fund balance of $5,556,790 as of December 1, 2009 and is projected to end the fiscal year with a fund balance of $5,066,014.
• The Circuit Court Clerk wishes to use $2,343,532.51 of fund balance for consulting services for the development and implementation of electronic civil filing functionality, which will allow registered individuals to pay and file instantaneously and securely with the Circuit Court Clerk’s office.
• The Circuit Court clerk wishes to use an additional $250,000 for a service level agreement to support the integrated justice network, including the electronic civil filing functionality.
• The total amount of $2,593,532.51 shall be appropriated to the following Document Storage Fund expense account: 258-3110010-71220-000-000-000-00000.

WHEREAS, the Court Document Storage fund has a fund balance of $5,556,790 as of December 1, 2009 and is projected to end the fiscal year with a fund balance of $5,066,014; and
WHEREAS, the Circuit Court Clerk wishes to use $2,343,532.51 of fund balance for consulting services for the development and implementation of electronic civil filing functionality, which will allow registered individuals to pay and file instantaneously and securely with the Circuit Court Clerk’s office; and
WHEREAS, the Circuit Court clerk wishes to use an additional $250,000 for a service level agreement to support the integrated justice network, including the electronic civil filing functionality.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the following emergency appropriation of $2,593,532.51 shall be made to the following expense account in the Document Storage Fund: 258-3110010-71220-000-000-000-00000.
