· This improvement will provide increased traffic capabilities by roadway widening to five-lanes, and installing new traffic control signals.

· The selected and recommended firm is Baxter & Woodman, Inc., Crystal Lake, Illinois, with a maximum cost of $1,147,029.20.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Wadsworth Road, County Highway 17, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois and Lake County believe it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if the intersection of Wadsworth Road and Illinois Route 131 (Green Bay Road) could be improved by widening, resurfacing and the installation of new traffic control signals; and
WHEREAS, Phase III construction engineering services are required for the Wadsworth Road and Illinois Route 131 improvement; and
WHEREAS, it is advisable that a consultant engineering firm be employed to provide said Phase III construction engineering services; and
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, has selected a professional engineering services firm in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, 50 ILCS 510/1 et. seq.; and
WHEREAS, Baxter & Woodman, Inc., Crystal Lake, Illinois, are consulting engineers skilled in the provision of said Phase III construction engineering services.
