R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board and the Libertyville Township Road District Highway Commissioner, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for Hot-Mix Surface removal, patching, and constructing 3/4" Hot-Mix Asphalt leveling binder and 1 1/2" Hot-Mix Asphalt surface course lifts on various roads in the Libertyville Township Road District, and designated as Section 14-10101-02-GM; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication and calling for said bids, sealed bids were received and opened on April 15, 2014, at 10:00 A.M. at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois, a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is Peter Baker & Son Co., Lake Bluff, Illinois, their bid being $333,200.30, based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that a contract be awarded to said Peter Baker & Son Co., Lake Bluff, Illinois, in accordance with their bid ...
