Body
On April 27, 2021, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) announced they are accepting applications for the FY2021 American Rescue Plan (ARP) Health Center Construction and Capital Improvements funding opportunity. Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD/CHC) applied and has been given $927,053.00. The purpose of this one-time funding opportunity is to support construction, expansion, alteration, renovation, and other capital improvements to modify, enhance, and expand health care infrastructure. LCHD/CHC will use these funds for the four following potential project locations:

1) Alterations/Renovations to the Belvidere Medical Building including:
* exterior elastomeric painting
* NW exterior window removal and replacement
* fire alarm removal and replacement
* remodel spaces to accommodate additional and updated exam rooms, provide an additional team room, and relocate the laboratory
* update and add to HVAC system
2) Renovations/Alterations to the Midlakes Health Center including:
