WHEREAS, the Information Technology Department applied for and received a no match cooperative agreement from the US Department of the Interior US Geological Survey; and
WHEREAS, the agreement is for the time period Date of Award through July 30, 2010; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate this funding and authorize the necessary approvals by the County of Lake to formally accept this Cooperative Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that it hereby authorizes the execution of the ARRA Assistance Award # G10AC00117 with the US Department of the Interior US Geological Survey and an emergency appropriation of $161,268.59 for the Lake County Information Technology Department, GIS Division in account 101-1300050-79940; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the off-setting revenue in account 101-1300010-45334 also be appropriated in the amount of $161,268.59.
