R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Lake County by and through its Division of Transportation and the City of Highland Park plan to develop a bike path along West Park Avenue, within the City of Highland Park, from the Highland Park Country Club to east of US Route 41 and including a bridge over the Skokie River; and
WHEREAS, plans, and specifications for that portion of said bike path from the Highland Park Country Club to east of US Route 41 and including a bridge over the Skokie River have been completed; and
WHEREAS, Lake County by and through its Division of Transportation desires to proceed with the construction of said portion of the bike path; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that there is hereby appropriated $665,000.00 of County Bridge Tax funds for the construction of a bike path along Park Avenue West from the Highland Park Country Club to east of US Route 41 and designated as Section 04-00271-00-BT.
