R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, this Lake County Board, at its meeting of March 13, 2012, approved a contract award to USIC Locating Services, Inc., Indianapolis, Indiana, in the amount of $50,880; and
WHEREAS, the USIC bid was later found to be non-responsive due to an exception limiting their liability; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the Purchasing Agent heretofore called for sealed re-bids, by publication, for the storm sewer locates and ticket screening services required for the Lake County Division of Transportation to comply with the “The Illinois Underground Utility Facilities Damage Prevention Act” (i.e., JULIE) and designated as Section 12-00000-06-GM; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication, and calling for said re-bids, sealed bids were received and opened on April 16, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at the Lake County Government Office in Waukegan, Illinois; a tabulation of said bids being as follows:
