RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Hunt Club Road, County Highway 29, and Washington Street, County Highway 45, are designated routes on the County highway system; and

WHEREAS, to ensure the free flow of traffic and the safety and welfare of the traveling public, Lake County believes it would be beneficial to make improvements to the intersection of Hunt Club Road and Washington Street, inclusive of non-motorized improvements; and

WHEREAS, the Central Lake County Joint Action Water Agency (CLCJAWA) owns and operates certain potable water facilities that require modification to accommodate the intersection improvements; and

WHEREAS, Lake County and CLCJAWA are desirous of entering into an agreement stating the terms and conditions for CLCJAWA's participation in this project, a draft copy of which is attached hereto.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the County Board Chair, the County Clerk, and the County Engineer of Lake County, Illinois, are authorized, and are hereby directed to enter into an agreement, and any amendments, between Lake County and the Central Lake County Joint Action Water Agency stating the terms and conditions for the agency's participation in the Hunt Club Road and Washington Street intersection improvement project, and designated as Section 17-00095-19-CH; and
