• This policy was developed using County Policy 1.1: Policy Making Framework, ensuring all County departments and stakeholders had opportunity to review and provide comment.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Risk Assessment Policy establishes a consistent process for identifying, assessing, and addressing risks to Lake County’s technology systems and information to support security, operational continuity, and compliance with applicable requirements; and
WHEREAS, EIT staff, developed the policy ensuring alignment with best practices and County operations; and
WHEREAS, this policy was developed using County Policy 1.1: Policy Making Framework, ensuring all County departments and stakeholders had opportunity to review and provide comment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the attached Risk Assessment Policy document is hereby adopted and shall take effect immediately.
