Body
WHEREAS, Casmir Pulaski Drive (County Highway 13), Sunset Avenue (County Highway 46) and Washington Street (County Highway 45) are designated routes on the county highway system; and

WHEREAS, the State of Illinois proposes to improve the intersections of Casmir Pulaski Drive at IL Rte. 131, Washington Street at Illinois Route 131 and Sunset Avenue at Illinois Route 131 by modernization of the existing traffic control signals; and

WHEREAS, the State of Illinois will utilize Federal Highway funding for 90% of this improvement; and

WHEREAS, the county portion of said improvement is for the local share of its legs of these intersections; and

WHEREAS, the State of Illinois and Lake County are desirous on entering into an agreement for said improvement; a draft copy of which is attached hereto.
