R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Washington Street, County Highway 45, from Hainesville Road, County Highway 24, to Lake Street is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial for the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Washington Street, between Haryan Way and Lake Street, could be improved to provide increased traffic capacities (Washington Street Thoroughfare improvement); and
WHEREAS, the Washington Street Thoroughfare improvement is in the right-of-way acquisition phase; and
WHEREAS, 3.6 acres of farm land, located on the property acquired by the County and in the Washington Street Thoroughfare improvement right-of-way, is farmed by William McNeill, 21408 W. Rollins Road, Lake Villa, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, Lake County and William McNeill, 21408 W. Rollins Road, Lake Villa, Illinois, are desirous of entering into a lease agreement for one crop year beginning March 31, 2013, and ending December 1, 2013, in the amount of $360, a draft copy attached hereto.
