Staff Summary
* The Lake County Government employees will observe the attached Holiday schedule for 2025, per County Policy 4.1- Paid Holidays.
* By statute, the Treasurer must maintain minimum hours and cannot change their hours without County Board approval.
* Treasurer Holly Kim is seeking County Board approval to close her office on the floating holiday, Lincoln's Birthday, February 12, 2025, to accommodate business training for all employees in the Treasurer's Office.
* 19th Judicial Circuit Court, Circuit Clerk, and State's Attorney's offices observe an additional holiday, President's Day, on February 17, 2025.

WHEREAS, it is necessary and appropriate that this Lake County Board establish the holiday schedule for Lake County Government employees for 2025; and
WHEREAS, the following holidays will be observed during 2025:
