RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 33.051 of the Lake County Purchasing
Ordinance, proposals were called for by publication for insurance broker services for Lake County; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, requests for proposals were extended to 16 vendors; and
WHEREAS, sealed proposals were received from three vendors, on April 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the Request for Proposal, the evaluation committee selected Alliant Insurance Services, Inc., Chicago, Illinois, as the most favorable proposal for Lake County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a contract with Alliant Insurance Services, Inc., Chicago, Illinois, for insurance broker services for Lake County for a one-year period, plus four one-year renewals, in the estimated annual amount of $79,500 charged to 206-1440010-72160.
