* Lake County is the recipient of HUD Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) entitlement funding.

RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the United States Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) requires the submission of a Consolidated Plan detailing five-year goals and strategies needed to address identified community needs; and

WHEREAS, the Consolidated Plan also includes Program Year 2025 (PY25) activities receiving funding totaling $3,144,037 of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), $1,631,705 HOME Investment Partnership (HOME), and $221,534 Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds; and

WHEREAS, the Lake County Consortium Citizens Participation Plan (CPP) outlines the public process adhered to for the creation of the Consolidated Plan; and

WHEREAS, in accordance with the CPP a series of public meetings were held to discuss the Consolidated Plan including a public hearing at the June 11, 2025, meeting of the Housing and Community Development Commission (HCDC); and
