* This resolution authorizes and directs the Purchasing Agent to execute a contract with Knickerbocker Roofing and Paving, Inc. of Harvey, Illinois, in the amount of $1,039,900 and approved contracted unit prices.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Lake County has designed a complete replacement Crosswalk and Jail Secure Detention Roofs; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 33.036 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for the Crosswalk and Jail Secure Detention Roof Replacement Project; and
WHEREAS, electronic bids were received from one vendor and publicly opened via Zoom on September 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, Knickerbocker Roofing and Paving, Inc is the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the amount of $1,039,900.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract with Knickerbocker Roofing and Paving, Inc. of Harvey, Illinois in the amount of $1,039,900 for the Crosswalk and Jail Secure Detention Roof Replacement Project.
