· This resolution authorizes the execution of a professional services agreement with Transystems Corporation, Schaumburg, Illinois, for Phase II design engineering services and appropriates $1,115,000 of ¼% Sales Tax for Transportation and Public Safety funds.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Hart Road, County Highway 80, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, the free flow of traffic along Hart Road is beneficial to the safety and welfare of the State of Illinois and the County as a whole; and
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois and Lake County believe it would be beneficial for the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Hart Road could be improved at the intersection of US Route 14; and
WHEREAS, it is advisable that a firm be employed to provide professional services for the phase II design engineering; and
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, has selected a professional engineering services firm, Transystems Corporation, Schaumburg, Illinois, in accordance with the Local Government Professiona...
