RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for center line rumble strip installation with hot spray thermoplastic pavement markings on various County highways, and designated as Section 23-00000-12-GM; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication and calling for said bids, sealed bids were received and opened on July 11, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois; a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is RoadSafe Traffic Systems, Inc., Romeoville, Illinois, their bid being $276,919.87 based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and

WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is required.
