RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Lewis Avenue (County Highway 27), north of York House Road (County Highway 65) is a designated route on the county highway system; and
WHEREAS, Lake County PASSAGE is a cooperative initiative of IDOT and Lake County to implement the federal initiative for the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) in Lake County; and
WHEREAS, the City of Waukegan, Lake County and the State of Illinois believe it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if traffic signals situated along Lewis Avenue (IL Rt. 173 to 14th Street) could be modernized and interconnected with Lake County PASSAGE; and
