R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Lake County is the owner of certain real estate located in the southeast quadrant of, and in proximity to, the intersection of Wilson Road (County Highway 7) and Rollins Road (County Highway 31); and,

WHEREAS, the Grant Township Road District has approved an Ordinance, a draft copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit B, declaring that it is necessary and convenient for it to acquire certain property owned by the County of Lake; and,

WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee has determined that the best interest of Lake County would be served by dedicating a certain portion of said real estate, hereinafter the DEDICATION, to the Grant Township Road District, hereinafter the ROAD DISTRICT, for public road purposes, to construct an improvement on Oak Lane to facilitate the free flow of traffic and ensure the safety of the motoring public; and,

WHEREAS, the construction of said improvement will require a temporary construction easement, hereinafter the EASEMENT, on said Lake County owned real estate. Said DEDICATION and said EASEMENT are depicted and legally described on EXHIBIT A attached hereto; and,
