Staff Summary

•                     The County is a dues paying member of the Des Plaines River Watershed Workgroup with a mission to bring together a diverse coalition of stakeholders to work together to improve water quality in the Des Plaines River in a cost effective manner to meet Illinois Environmental Protection Agency requirements.

•                     A status report of activities undertaken by the Workgroup is provided on a periodic basis to inform stakeholders of recent activities and funding levels.

•                     A brief review of the August 2015 status report will be provided by Director Peter Kolb.
