RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the subcontractor award with College of Lake County in the Illinois Community College Board Workforce Equity Initiative Grant totaling $25,257 to the Lake County Workforce Development Department; and,
WHEREAS this funding covers expenses for job readiness training leading to employment in a sustainable wage career pathway; and
WHEREAS, this grant is for the program period of March 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021; and
WHEREAS, an emergency appropriation of $25,257 is requested to allocate these funds into the Workforce Department’s county fiscal year 2020 budget of $8,161 and allocate the remaining funds to Workforce Department’s county fiscal year 2021 budget of $17,096 and authorize acceptance of this grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that an emergency appropriation in the amount of $25,257 for the Workforce Development Department is hereby approved and that the subcontractor agreement between Lake County Workforce Development and College of Lake County in the Illinois Community College Board Workforce Equity Initiative Grant be accepted.
