· The University of Illinois desires to place this temporary stream gauge in order to perform a 2-year study as part of the Illinois State Water Survey.
· Before this stream gauge can be installed on the Kelsey Road bridge over Flint Creek the execution of a license agreement is necessary.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Lake County by and through its Division of Transportation has jurisdiction and ownership of the Kelsey Road bridge over Flint Creek; and
WHEREAS, the University of Illinois through its Illinois State Water Survey is involved in a 2-year study which includes the collection of stream flow data and water sample collection; and
WHEREAS, as part of said Illinois State Water Survey the University of Illinois desire to place a temporary stream gauge on the Kelsey Road bridge over Flint Creek for the collection of stream flow data and water sample collection; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois and the Lake County Division of Transportation are desirous of entering into an agreement providing the terms and conditions for the placement of said stream gauge on the Kelsey Road bridge over Flint Creek, a draft copy of which is attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Chair of the County Board, the County Clerk, and the County Engineer of Lake County are authorized and they are directed to execute on behalf Lake County an agreement for the placement of a temporary stream gauge on the Kelsey Road bridge over Flint Creek between Lake County and the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois.
