Staff Summary
• This change is recommended to enhance collaboration with the stakeholders by converting a clerical position to a professional staff member which is needed to effectively perform the essential functions of the Division.
• The Administrative Assistant position is currently vacant and administrative functions will be performed on a shared service basis with Health Department employees who perform related duties.
• If approved, this reclassification may result in an additional annual cost of around $30,000, 50 percent of which is grant funded.
• The department’s operating budget can absorb the additional cost.
