· Change orders that adjust the original contract amount by 10% must be reviewed and approved by the Public Works and Transportation and the Finance & Administration Committees.
· Subsurface conditions encountered during construction activities along the Seavey Drainage Ditch portion of the project require significant dewatering efforts.
· The County and Western Utility Contractors, Inc. have jointly agreed it is in the best interest of both parties to remove this portion of the original contract, reassess the groundwater conditions at the site, and rebid this work for competitive pricing.
· This change order decreases the amount of the construction contract by $996,419.72 or 55.7% from $1,780,285.75 to $792,866.03.
