There is a need to upgrade the existing Nomad Cart audio/visual system in Courtroom 201 to support courtroom proceedings and presentation of audio/visual information.
The upgrade of the existing Nomad Cart system includes a new 98-inch ceiling-mounted display and witness touch screen, installation, programming, system integration, testing, and related services.
Purchasing identified a cooperative purchasing contract with Conference Technologies, Inc. of Itasca, Illinois, through a Joint Purchasing contract.
Pursuant to Article 33.115 Cooperative Joint Purchasing of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, Lake County may participate in a cooperative purchasing agreement.
This resolution authorizes and directs the County Purchasing Agent to execute a contract with Conference Technologies, Inc, Itasca, Illinois, in the amount of $39,659.00 to upgrade the existing Nomad Cart audio/visual system in Courtroom 201.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Courtroom 201 utilizes a Nomad Cart audio/visual system to support courtroom proceedings and the presentation of audio/visual information; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to upgrade the existing Nomad Cart system, including replacement of the existing display with a 98-inch ceiling-mounted display and replacement of the witness touch screen; and
WHEREAS, the proposed work includes equipment, installation, programming, materials, freight, system integration, testing, and an onsite system overview; and
WHEREAS, Purchasing identified a cooperative purchasing contract with Conference Technologies, Inc of Itasca, Illinois, through a Joint Purchasing contract; and
