Staff Summary
• The System and Information Integrity Policy establishes minimum requirements for protecting Lake County’s technology systems and information by identifying, preventing, and responding to potential threats to ensure security, reliability, and continuity of County operations.
• EIT Staff developed the policy ensuring alignment with best practices and County operations.
• This policy was developed using County Policy 1.1: Policy Making Framework, ensuring all County departments and stakeholders had opportunity to review and provide comment.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the System and Information Integrity Policy establishes minimum requirements for protecting Lake County’s technology systems and information by identifying, preventing, and responding to potential threats to ensure security, reliability, and continuity of County operations; and
WHEREAS, EIT staff, developed the policy ensuring alignment with best practices and County operations; and
WHEREAS, this policy was developed using County Policy 1.1: Policy Making Framework, ensuring all County departments and stakeholders had opportunity to review and provide comment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the attached System and Information Integrity Policy document is hereby adopted and shall take effect immediately.
