RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Access to Justice has awarded the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Court an additional $3,400 to support the work of the Court’s Self-Represented Litigant (SRL) program for the grant period of August 1, 2024 through July 31, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the funds are to support the continuation of the early resolution program; and
WHEREAS, the County Board must authorize an emergency appropriation of $3,400 to implement this grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the County Board authorizes an emergency appropriation with offsetting revenue in the amount of $3,400, to support the work of the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Court’s Self-Represented Litigant (SRL) Coordinator for the grant period of August 1, 2024 through July 31, 2025.
