RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 33.036 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, RFP responses were called for by publication for uniforms and accessories for the LCSO; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, an RFP was extended to three vendors; and
WHEREAS, electronic proposals were received from two vendors they were opened and evaluated in private on June 2, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the RFP, the Evaluation Committee comprised of representatives from Finance Services and the LCSO, selected Galls, LLC, Lexington, Kentucky, as the most favorable proposal for Lake County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent be authorized to enter into the contract with Galls, LLC, Lexington, Kentucky, to procure uniforms, vests, and carriers for the LCSO in the estimated annual amount of $329,352.00 out of account number 101-3001110-61060.
