* Lake County has an ongoing and evolving need to respond to the COVID-19 public health emergency in FY 2021
* The proposed FY21 plan contains the following COVID Response Categories: Resident Support and Assistance, Health Department / Public Health Support and Assistance, Business and Economic Assistance, County-Wide Essential Services, and Contingency.
* Authority to spend appropriated funds within approved COVID Response Categories and to execute any and all agreements with partners related to the allocation and distribution of funds is delegated to the County Administrator or their designee(s).

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on November 10, 2020, Lake County Board Resolution 20-1558 approved Amendment Number Two to the Lake County CARES Act Funding Plan; and
WHEREAS, Lake County has executed the approved Lake County CARES Act Funding Plan (as amended) to meet the needs of Lake County residents, taxing-bodies, and businesses; and
WHEREAS, Lake County has an ongoing and evolving need to respond to the COVID-19 public health emergency in Fiscal Year 2021.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that a Lake County Fiscal Year 2021 COVID-19 Relief and Recovery Plan be established to meet the ongoing and evolving response to the COVID-19 public health emergency; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Lake County Fiscal Year 2021 COVID-19 Relief and Recovery Plan contain the following COVID Response Categories: (1) Resident Support and Assistance (food insecurity, homeless housing support), (2) Health Department / Public Health Support and Assistance (vaccination efforts, alternative housing), (3) Business and Economic Assistance (advertising and education campaigns supporting small businesses and ...
