RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, there are currently three vacancies on the Lake County Workforce Development Board, due to the resignations of Eugene Roberson, Melissa O'Neill, and Marcy Thompson; and
WHEREAS, your Chair requests that this County Board confirm the appointment of Yvette Ewing as a member of the Lake County Workforce Development Board, to fill the vacancy of Eugene Roberson, for a term beginning on Sunday, October 1, 2023, and ending on Monday, September 30, 2024; and
WHEREAS, your Chair requests that this County Board confirm the appointment of Rachel Loberg as a member of the Lake County Workforce Development Board, to fill the vacancy of Melissa O'Neill, for a term beginning on Sunday, October 1, 2023, and ending on Tuesday, September 30, 2025; and
WHEREAS, your Chair requests that this County Board confirm the appointment of Lautauscha "Tasha" Shell as a member of the Lake County Workforce Development Board, to fill the vacancy of Marcy Thompson, for a term beginning on Sunday, October 1, 2023, and ending on Wednesday, September 30, 2026; and
WHEREAS, the appointees' memberships within the Lake County Workforce Development Board shall be as follows: Yvette Ewing as a Youth Workforce Development Program Representative; Rachel Loberg as a Business Representative; and Lautauscha "Tasha" Shell as an Adult Basic Education Representative.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the appointment of Yvette Ewing as a member of the Lake County Workforce Development Board, for a term beginning on Sunday, October 1, 2023, and ending on Monday, September 30, 2024, be, and the same is hereby confirmed; and
