Staff Summary

•                     14^th Street (Pulaski Drive) Bridge Deck Resurfacing: Supplemental Appropriation

•                     Construction costs have increased due to additional temporary pavement to provide proper lane tappers in the work zone.                                                                                                

•                     Construction costs have also increased due to additional concrete deck slab repair to address additional area of deterioration. 

•                     This supplemental appropriation of $55,000 from the County Bridge Tax fund is needed to cover change orders which total $93,182.92.

R E S O L U T I O N

                     WHEREAS, this County Board of Lake County, Illinois by prior resolution appropriated $385,000 of County Bridge Tax funds for the bridge deck resurfacing of 14^th Street (Pulaski Drive) and designated Section 08-00196-06-BR; and

                     WHEREAS, a supplemental appropriation of funds is deemed necessary for the above said improvement; and

                     NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that there is hereby appropriated $55,000 of County Bridge Tax Funds for the resurfacing of the 14^th Street bridge deck and designated Section 08-00196-06-BR.
