RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Peterson Road (County Highway 20) is a designated route on the county highway system; and
WHEREAS, the free flow of traffic along Peterson Road is beneficial to the safety and welfare to the State of Illinois and the county as a whole; and
WHEREAS, Lake County believes it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Peterson Road at its intersection with IL Rte. 60 could be relocated; and
WHEREAS, Kinder Morgan has 3 natural gas lines in the area of the improvement; and
WHEREAS it would be advantageous to the schedule for the upcoming relocation of Peterson Road at IL Rte. 60 for the county to proceed with an advance contract to accommodate the said natural gas mains in this project.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that there is hereby appropriated $575,000 of ¼% Sales Tax for Transportation and Public Safety funds for an advance construction improvement for the upcoming relocation of Peterson Road at IL Rte. 60 involving the accommodations of the said natural gas mains i...
