WHEREAS, Lake County approved an amount of $700,000 in budgeted revenue and expense in the GIS Automation Fee Fund in FY12; and
WHEREAS, actual collections of the GIS Fee surpassed the budget expectations by nearly $86,000; and
WHEREAS, an emergency appropriation is necessary to allow for the transfer of the full amount collected to the General Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that an emergency appropriation in the amount of $86,000 is hereby authorized in Fiscal Year 2012 in revenue account 264-2220010-46930 (GIS Fees) with an offsetting increase of $86,000 to the expense appropriation in account 264-2220010-79920 (Transfers to Other Funds).
