Resolution providing for the appointment of Jean McCue, Mayor, Village of Round Lake Park, as a Member of the Solid Waste Agency of Lake County (SWALCO) Recycling Task Force.
Body
WHEREAS, the 2009 Solid Waste Management Plan was adopted by the Lake County Board on April 13, 2010; and
WHEREAS, Section 4.2.2 Recycling R.3 requires that a task force be convened by July 1, 2010 to investigate, evaluate and develop recommendations on how SWALCO and Lake County can realistically achieve a 60% recycling rate by 2020; and
WHEREAS, your Chairman requests that Jean McCue be appointed as a mayoral representative on the SWALCO Recycling Task Force, for a term ending December 31, 2011, or upon the completion of the Recycling Task Force final report.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the appointment of Jean McCue as a Mayoral Member representative on the Solid Waste Agency of Lake County Recycling Task Force for a term ending December 31, 2011, or upon the completion of the Recycling Task Force final report be, and the same is hereby confirmed.
