Staff Summary
• Staff is in the process of preparing a comprehensive update of the Lake County Code of Ordinances (LCC), for which minor substantive changes and housekeeping amendments to Sections 151.185 through 151.221 are necessary.
• Per LCC Section 151.046 and state statute, the Planning, Building, Zoning and Environment Committee conducts public hearings and makes a recommendation on text amendments related to subdivisions.
• Staff will present the proposed amendments to LCC Sections 151.185 through 151.221 at a hearing held by the Planning, Building, Zoning and Environment Committee, anticipated on October 28, 2026.
