RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the County of Lake (County) owns, operates, and maintains numerous water systems throughout the County including the Countryside Lake System within which is the Indian Creek Club community; and
WHEREAS, a segment of water main located along Cripple Creek Drive has had multiple breaks since 2021; and
WHEREAS, the most economical and efficient method to maintain reliable service is to replace approximately 1,020 feet of water main in the Countryside Lake water system; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication of the Indian Creek Club Water Main Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, Mauro Sewer Construction Inc. is the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the amount of $589,745.
