Staff Summary

·      The HOME application process was delayed in the fall in anticipation of the new HOME rule and the conclusion of HUD technical assistance.

·      All HOME participating jurisdictions in the Chicago region collaborated with assistance from a HUD technical assistance provider to construct a common HOME application.

·      While the HOME rule has been delayed again, the common application is complete. We seek approval of this document to initiate the 2013 application process.
