R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, St Mary’s Road (County Highway 41) is a designated route on the county highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if St Mary’s Road from IL Rte. 137 to IL Rte. 176 could be resurfaced; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications and estimates of costs for this improvement have been completed and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that there is hereby appropriated $2,650,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the resurfacing of St Mary’s Road from IL Rte. 137 to IL Rte. 176 and designated as Section 08-00102-22-RS.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this appropriation be processed by the County Engineer for final approval of the Illinois Department of Transportation in accordance with the “Agreement of Understanding” between the Illinois Department of Transportation and Lake County, dated January 22, 2003.
