RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Office of the Illinois Attorney General has approved the continuation of the State's Attorney's Violent Crime Victims Assistance Program, and $130,200 was awarded for the time period July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027; and
WHEREAS, the grant funds of $130,200 for this program will fund the majority of the salary and benefits of two full-time Domestic Violence Victim Specialists.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Lake County State's Attorney's Violent Crime Victims Assistance Program with the Office of the Illinois Attorney General is hereby authorized; and
