• The Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity has awarded $25,000 to the Lake County Workforce Investment Board for operating activities for Program Year 2008.
• A resolution authorizing an emergency appropriation must be executed in order to appropriate these funds into the Lake County Workforce Development Department expense and revenue budget.
• An emergency appropriation in revenue account 750-4042050-45333-000-000-000-00000 and expense account 750-4042050-51110-000-000-000-00000 is requested.

WHEREAS, the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity has
provided funding for the Lake County Workforce Investment Board operating activities for Program Year 2008; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity has
awarded a $25,000 grant to the Lake County Workforce Investment Board for Program Year 2008; and
WHEREAS, as a result of the above action it is necessary to approve an appropriation in the amount of $25,000 for the Lake County Workforce Development
Department budget; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County,
Illinois that an emergency appropriation in the amount of $25,000 be approved for the
Lake County Workforce Development Department; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Lake County Workforce Development budget be modified to reflect the additional funds received.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an emergency appropriation for revenue account 750-4042050-45333-000-000-000-00000 and expense account 750-4042050-51110-000-000-000-00000 is hereby authorized.
